Andreas Vollenweider（安德列斯．佛伦怀德）:
   奥地利人，生于瑞士苏黎士,著名的作曲家、全能型演奏家，演奏器乐包括竖琴，gu-cheng，声乐与长笛等。音乐类型涉及非常广泛，和古典艺术家，jazz艺术家，和新世纪钢琴手kevin kern都有精彩的合作。
   当“新世纪音乐”于二十世纪八十年代中时期刚刚在市扬上出现的时候，Andreas Vollenweider就是为数不多的几个被称为“新世纪乐超级巨星“的音乐家。八十年代初期，Vollenweider同CBS唱片公司签约并发行了专辑“BEHIND THE GARDENS...BEHIND THE WALL",他那轻快的打击乐节奏、奇特的充满异域风情即性竖琴演奏开始风行欧洲大陆。1986年他的专辑登上了美国BILLBOARD流行乐、爵士乐和古典音乐排行榜，个人专辑的销售一路飚升。发行了三个专辑后，Vollenweider于1987年凭借《Down To The Moon》获得第29届葛莱美奖中的「New Age Album of the year」（年度最佳新世纪唱片）奖项，这应该算是New Age Music成为一种音乐类别的又一里程碑式事件。
   因为他最大的成绩也在于对竖琴曲目的改编，创新，多乐器的融合，所以也被称为是newage音乐的开拓先锋。
