在瑞典，有撰写美妙的旋律的传统，所以这里产生了很多好听的音乐，音乐人也能够以此为生。此外，瑞典人都能说很好的英文，这也帮助他们的音乐变得国际化，所以有那么多非主流的精彩声音通行世界......
1995年Club8正式成立于瑞典。
乐队成立后不久便与西班牙独立厂牌Siesta签约，
并在旗下发表了单曲《Metoo》和专辑《Nouvelle》。
之后他们离开Siesta，选择自行制作唱片。
Club8的第二张专辑《ThefriendIoncehad》和单曲《Missingyou》分别于1998年和1999年发表。
《Missingyou》在欧美迅速成为风靡校园、酒吧和电台的金曲。
随后他们在2001年发表第三张同名专辑《Club8》，顿时风靡全欧洲。
西班牙、英国、美国、日本的各大独立厂牌都争相要求这张专辑在各自国家的代理发行。
2003年春天，Club8发表第四张专辑《StrangelyBeautiful》。
乐队的标志是女主唱Karolina的飘逸嗓音，这声音在多少个寒风袭来的夜晚给无数孤寂心灵带来一丝暖意。
每次听Club 8，让人觉得久违的清新声音，总有一种伤怀的感觉，仿佛回到昔日的青葱校园，怀念久违的面红耳赤，恋爱大过天的天真纯情。永远的甜美而羞涩，永远的青春期，永远的无悔。几年过去，Club 8早已不是当初简简单单地玩乐器唱歌的小男生小女生，抹不去的是那股无邪感觉，还有随年龄增长的淡淡失落。
