Nik Bärtsch's Ronin是瑞士蘇黎世鋼琴手Nik Bärtsch組建的樂隊。Nik Bärtsch本人也生活在蘇黎世和柏林兩地。這張在ECM發表的新作初聽之下有點德國新民謠的味道。就差沒有唱而已。作品試圖用更少的音樂手法表現作品主題。這點上可能和Nik Bärtsch本人所學的是哲學有點關系。總體上看，這不失為一張近期ECM個人欣賞的作品。其追求的極簡主義雖不是那么的夠火候，但其內核與與源自康定斯基的風格一脈相承。
